Camping at Lake Louise was so refreshing. Even waking up to that cold mountain air felt really good. I encourage everyone to do that at least once in their lifetime! I recorded something last night just before I went to sleep. I was easily the only person of any color on the campgrounds but everyone was friendly–especially the park rangers and groundskeepers.
Today I’m headed to Yellowstone National Park.

I don’t have service right now as I’m writing this but I needed to document. When I first arrived in Montana, there was nothing. Nothing to look at or make me want to get the drone out…until I got passed Great Falls and started hitting the Missouri river. Whoa! It’s amazing how water gives life to everything around it (and us). The greenery and landscape changed so drastically from dry farmland and weeds to lush riverbanks and green mountains. Here’s a video from a place I stopped at:
I’m running a bit behind on getting to Wyoming and Yellowstone but hopefully I can camp there tonight. It’s taken me a bit longer just from being sleepy and stopping to use the bathroom.
Montana just became interesting.
Tired and exhausted, I didn’t end up making it to Yellowstone tonight. I managed to snag a room at the Holiday Inn near Bozeman, Montana.
