Today has been uneventful until the end when I got to Newark, New Jersey. I worked for a few hours in D.C. yesterday making some important changes to some client apps then left around 13:30 EDT and arrived in Newark around 18:20 EDT.
My good friend Evita was gracious enough to allow me to crash at her place. If you don’t know who Evita Robinson is, do some research. She’s one of few people I know in my generation who is changing the world–and she’s just getting started. I am her friend, colleague, and app developer for her organization, Nomadness Travel Tribe. I had been working with her on her app for about two years (on and off since she’s usually traveling or being interviewed) but we didn’t meet until she came to Los Angeles.
When we met, it was instant connection. We think and operate alike so we feed off each other’s energy. Brainstorming and good vibes all day. I absolutely respect what she’s doing and who she is to her community and network of friends.
Evita, her neighbor Caesar, and I had great conversation. Conversation about the world, hope, and making change in it. Time flew by with deep discussions and we’re just now getting to sleep. Discussions to remember that make life memorable.
